Reclaim your in-home real estate!
One Sound Choice offers a wide array of flat panel equipment, which differs from flat screen (or tube-based) units in that they take up less “real estate” in your home – freeing up space that can be used for placing furniture, meaningful decorations and family heirlooms.
Flat panel equipment can be wall-mounted, offer better picture quality and are uniquely capable of providing excellent viewing in even the brightest rooms in your home. By nature of design, they offer brighter picture quality which helps offset light which might filter in from other sources such as sliding doors and windows.
At One Sound Choice, we help you decide among the finest names in flat panel products designed to suit your intended use and choose installation methods that contribute to the seamlessness of your in home media system.
All components are carefully selected to accommodate your needs and desires. When considering your personal entertainment preferences we’ll determine which you gravitate toward more often – audio or video sources. We’ll ask how you plan to use your equipment.

Surround sound brings the experience home!

Surround sound systems components include a receiver and a sound delivery system with anywhere between a 5.1 and 10.1 ratio (speakers to subwoofers). At One Sound Choice, we consider the size of the room your system will be located in and suggest a ratio that best suits your needs in order to enhance the channels of sound delivered by your home media products (CDs, DVDs, etc.).
Speakers are wall mounted and wiring is hidden leaving less chance for expensive equipment to get knocked over or for a pet or child to get tangled up in an untidy, wiry mess. Ask one of our designers to advise you about the options for hiding or painting over your speaker system to further increase the aesthetic value of your One Sound Choice media room or home theater.

What can a One Sound Choice lighting system do for me?

A “scene” is a dramatic effect created by cross-regulating light sources within your home. One Sound Choice technicians can help you plan and set the brightness and dimness of each source. Setting them at different intensities results in custom lighting design that sets a definitive mood.
Feeling romantic? What to quickly dim all of the lights for optimal movie viewing? How about the “Don’t wake the kids I just got them to sleep” mode? We just made that one up! But you get the picture, don’t you? Keep this in mind when you consider in-home lighting.
One Sound Choice offers a wide variety of lighting product lines – ones that offer one scene option and others that let you program and define 1,000 or more!
Get rid of indoor and outdoor timers once and for all…you won’t need them with our system. It’s got intelligence built right in! Programmed at the time of installation, your One Sound Choice lighting control system automatically adjusts its schedule to accommodate for daylight savings time and the changes of season – something traditional timers just can’t do for you.
Has someone set foot on your property or walked up to your door unannounced? A One Sound Choice outdoor lighting system will illuminate them, letting both you and them know that their actions have not gone unnoticed.
This puts you in control, making it easier for you to see just who’s come a knockin’. Additionally, we’re equipped to set up sensors around the windows and doors of your home. Their activation system reacts to potential intrusions by lighting up designated areas whenever someone violates your space or makes an attempt to enter your home.
What’s more, our indoor system doubles as an added security feature. As easy for us to install as a wall plate, the home lighting control products we offer turn on and off automatically based on your outlined preferences. Stuck in traffic and it’s getting dark outside? Not to worry. Your lights will be on when you get there!
Timers can also help. Plugged into outlets and lamps, they can be programmed to turn on and off at certain times of the day. This is a great way to give your home a “lived in” look – even when you’re on vacation.
Our climate control feature takes the “intelligent thermostat” concept to the max!
Linked in to your One Sound Choice home automation system, our climate control system makes supposedly “intelligent thermostat” products, which you may have seen or purchased in large chain hardware stores, obsolete.
Before you head for Florida, push the “Away” button. Your lights will turn themselves on and off ensuring you’re the only one who knows you’re out of town! Your HVAC, or heating ventilation and air conditioning system, will be regulated for you – saving you the expense of heating or cooling a home that’s temporarily vacant.
It’s a robust system with limitless programming possibilities…one that’s easily installed, energy efficient and designed with your comfort in mind!
Some rooms in your home, by nature of their location, will experience higher levels of sun and wind exposure. Motorized window shades, offered for purchase and installation by One Sound Choice, are one option for minimizing their effects. Programmed to open and close at certain times of the day, they help block out unwanted light and provide a buffer against the elements.
This, in turn, saves you money by helping regulate the overall temperature of your home!

Also a feature that’s easily linked in to your One Sound Choice home automation system, our block of security services incorporate light safety and panic mode features that will keep your family safe, alert to potential danger and – as much as it can – out of harm’s way.
Hear a strange sound coming from below your second story bedroom window? Remotely turn your outside lights on. In the event of a breech in internal safety, your inside lights will automatically begin to flash to get your attention and help you and your loved ones remove yourselves to a place of safety.
At the first sign of fire, sirens will ring out and local emergency personnel will be called to the scene. Your One Sound Choice security system offers you another measure of control in the form of a building block that helps create a truly effective whole home automation system!
