Associate Sales Executive:

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) awarded 1 Sound Choice with the “TechHome Mark of Excellence Platinum Award” for Theater Design and Construction in 2009, 2010 and 2013. We also won Angie’s List Super Service Award 5 years in a row! Our award-winning Smart Home Technology business is expanding and we need your help to reach our sales goals! Earn up to $250,000 a year in salary and commission with the opportunity to advance to a senior sales position.

Experience:

· Certificate from a technical school and a minimum of 1 year related experience in sales or

· CEDIA certification and a minimum of 1 year related experience in sales.

· Knowledge of the audio/visual industry. Knowledge of the construction industry and home theater design is a plus.

· Experience selling a competing service preferred, but not required.

 

Qualifications:

· Familiarity with consultative selling.

· Demonstrated ability to close deals.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to travel in company’s van. Must have valid driver’s license.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in sales and customer service training workshops.
  • Understand the competitive landscape. In the field, position 1 Sound Choice as the authority in smart home technology.
  • Build a sales pipeline of customer prospects by networking and proactively acquiring new business leads.
  • Book appointments with customer prospects that fit the profile of the target audience(s).
  • Collaboratively work with Marketing and Sales to develop project-specific proposals that meet the needs of the customer.
  • Seek and create opportunities to upsell the customer.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer prospect, pipeline and sales forecast records.
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals.

Assistant Audio / Video Installer:

Our award-winning Smart Home Technology business is expanding and we need a helping, skilled hand like yours. Earn between $24,000 to $60,000 a year depending on experience.  Opportunity to advance to a lead installation position.  We also offer the following benefits:

We’re currently searching for a personable, customer-focused, organized “ninja” who loves technology and lives for the movies.  If you like to turn complex technology oriented tasks into simple ones and want to learn or know how to control a smart home from a smart phone, we’d like to hear from you.

Experience:

Adept at installing and configuring audio/video equipment and related electronics and parts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong familiarity with electronics. Background in construction industry desired.
  • Aptitude for calculations, ratios and making job-related estimates.
  • Able to move and lift heavy equipment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to travel in and drive company’s van. Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Installer with keeping the company’s van and tools organized.
  • Read and comprehend written instructions (e. g. floor plans for home theaters).
  • Take and clarify instructions from the Lead Installer. Suggest ideas.
  • Install and configure audio/video equipment and related electronics and parts in clients’ homes and businesses.
  • Work neatly and present yourself professionally.
  • Document work flow and status.
  • Bring coffee from Starbucks for the boss every morning (Just kidding . . . Hey, it was worth a shot).
