As we gear up for the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), I thought we’d revisit some of the more exciting smart home innovations to come out of CES 2015.  Since many of you attend CES as an exhibitor, sponsor or guest, you’re one of the first to experience all of the latest and greatest in-home and out-of-home technology that’s on the market today and will be down the road.  Rapid advances in technology now make it possible for all of us to live more simply, safely and with a whole lot more convenience.  Towards that end, here’s some of what CES showed the world back in January of this year . . . Smart Home Innovations at CES 2015.

Wow!  We really have come a long way since the 1990’s.  Who would have thought that back in the 90’s, we would be able to detect and stop an intruder from entering our homes by using a synchronized system of products designed to keep you and your family safe from harm.  With the escalation of violence happening around the country, we never can be too careful.   And while web cameras, facial recognition and smartphones all have a role to play in protecting us, something (or someone) has to come along to connect all of these disparate products together so that they function as a unit.  What we’re talking about here is a fully- integrated system that possesses the collective power to deter and ultimately prevent a home invasion.
